NIOA will be up for three gongs when Australia’s defence industry comes together next month for its annual awards night.
The company is again in the running for LAND Business of the Year and Prime Contractor of the Year as well as Innovator of the Year for its work in creating the Australian Missile Corporation.
“To be up there as a finalist among the best in the industry on the national stage says something for our consistent standard of excellence,” CEO Rob Nioa said.
“As Australia’s global firearms, weapons and munitions company, it’s been a memorable year in many ways with notable milestones and achievements.
“This sort of recognition happens because we have people who believe in what they do and are always striving to go further.”
The Defence Connect Awards is the premier industry event of the year that recognises the leading professionals and businesses in the defence community across our nation.
The finalist list features more than 248 high-achieving professionals and businesses across 29 categories, from primes, SMEs, academic institutions, and associations through to high-performing individuals such as executives, scientists and technicians.
Winners will be announced at a black tie gala dinner at the National Convention Centre in Canberra on September 15.
